Our RepeatersA repeater is a device that receives and rebroadcasts radio signals. It is used to enable communication between two poorly sited radios, or radios with weak signals such as hand portables. The radios communicate not with each other but via the repeater which can 'hear' them when they cannot be heard by each other. Mercia's private network of repeaters is located on prime radio sites on the Malvern Hills, Clee Hill, Radnor Forest, Birdlip, Hereford. Up to 16 of our customers can share one repeater with privacy, with the benefit of mobile to mobile contact over a wide area at a reasonable cost. Click the pictures for a full view |
